love poem (1985)
printed in grey on the ivory cover does nothing to prepare the viewer for the rich red heart on page one. A heart emptying a little on each successive page and the red from the heart becomes the ‘love poem’ until, by the last page, the heart has disappeared altogether and there is only the ‘love poem’.
